The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs.

The NaUOA Students Participated in the International Youth Exchange' Creative Entrepreneurs – Startup Our Future' in the Netherlands
On November 22–30, 2025, seven students from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Linguistics at the National University of Ostroh Academy, together with their group leader, Oksana Mararenko, Head of the International Relations Department at the National University of Ostroh Academy, took part in the international youth exchange programme "Creative Entrepreneurs – Startup Our Future" held in Dordrecht (the Netherlands). The event was organised by the Dutch organisation 'Stichting Be Innovated' in partnership with Ostroh Academy and with the participation of representatives from the Netherlands, Ukraine, Moldova, North Macedonia, Croatia and Hungary.

On November 18, Mr Ben Hodges, retired Lieutenant General of the US Army, ex-commander of the US Army in Europe and Doctoris Honoris of Ostroh Academy, delivered the fifteenth lecture at the National University of Ostroh Academy. The National University of Ostroh Academy has officially been granted the status of Individual Full Member of the European University Association (EUA). The decision to admit the Academy to the association was made at the EUA Council meeting on October 31, 2025.

Traditionally, the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine determines the risk levels of higher education institutions. In 2025, the risk level for educational activities at the National University of Ostroh Academy was rated "insignificant" with a score of 15 points.
