The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs.

The Ostroh Academy has successfully implemented a certificate program—the course “Modeling and Analysis of Information Warfare Processes as a Tool for Defending Democracy in the EU and Countering Threats”
In January–February 2026, a free certificate program—the course “Modeling and Analysis of Information Warfare Processes as a Tool for Protecting Democracy in the EU and Countering Threats”—was implemented as part of the EUDemCT project, which is being carried out by the National University of Ostroh Academy with co-funding from the European Union.
