On November 14, the National University of Ostroh Academy held an all-academic Open Day in the traditional “All-Ukrainian Forum of the OA Future Students” format.
The event was attended by over 300 applicants and their parents from Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Zakarpattia, Volyn and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts of Ukraine.
Ihor Pasichnyk, the President of the NaUOA, Doctor of Science (Psychology) and Full Professor, delivered a welcoming speech:
"An Ostroh Academy diploma is an all-Ukrainian brand that is recognised throughout the world. Our advantage is that, unlike all other universities in Ukraine, we have a different goal in training specialists. The intelligentsia shapes the nation, so the mission of the Ostroh Academy is to train the nation's leaders on two pillars: Christian morality and the Ukrainian national state idea. Our university is the place where you can get a quality education, realise your potential and achieve success. Take your chance to become a student of Ostroh Academy!"
The Executive Secretary of the NaUOA Admissions Committee, Olha Kryvytska, outlined the features of the 2026 Admission Campaign and emphasised the grants available to applicants at the university.
"A counselling centre for applicants will operate at Ostroh Academy around the clock. We will be happy to answer all your questions. On the 'Абітурієнт ОА' website, we publish up-to-date information on admission requirements. Every month, we hold online webinars where we explain the conditions for registering for the national multi-subject test, submitting documents and applications, etc. Together, we will make admission 2025 successful,"
During the event, participants asked various questions about the specifics of studying, international opportunities at the university, the qualities that students of Ostroh Academy should possess, and other aspects of student life.
Sofiia Loziuk, the Head of the Consultation Centre for Applicants of the NaUOA Admissions Committee, described the institutes' structures and the educational and professional programmes offered at each.
"The National University of Ostroh Academy has five educational and research institutes and over 20 academic and professional programmes. We are constantly developing, so we launch new educational programmes every year. I hope that today you were able to fully immerse yourself in the university's atmosphere and feel like a student. I believe that Ostroh Academy has impressed you,"
All participants of the Open Day also had the opportunity to talk to the directors of educational and research institutes: the director of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Management, Candidate of Sciences (Philosophy), Associate Professor Maksym Karpovets; director of the Institute of International Relations and National Security, Doctor of Science (Economics), Full Professor Olha Demianchuk; the director of I.
