Every year, the National University of Ostroh Academy joins the commemoration of the Holodomor Remembrance Day in Ukraine. It organises several events dedicated to this topic.

Representatives of the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine Visit Ostroh Academy
On November 22, Christophoros Politis, Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, visited the National University of Ostroh Academy.
He was accompanied by Olena Ursu, the NaUOA graduate, the Head of the UNDP Democratic Governance team; Mariia Hutsman, the Head of the Inclusive Development, Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme; Olha Kashevska, the UNDP project coordinator in Rivne Oblast, as well as the representatives of the Rivne Regional Military Administration and the Territorial Community of the Town of Ostroh.

Ostroh Academy Launched Maksym Burda's Permanent Exhibition 'Heavenly Photographer'
November 19 marks 1000 days since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. On this day, the Scientific Library of the National University of Ostroh Academy hosted the opening of a permanent photo exhibition, "Heavenly Photographer", authored by Maksym Burda, an alumnus of the Journalism Speciality of the NaUOA, a famous Volyn photographer and serviceman who was killed near Bakhmut on January 26, 2023.

Ben Hodges Spoke About the US Elections and Their Impact on Ukraine and Europe
On November 18, Mr Ben Hodges, retired Lieutenant General of the US Army, ex-commander of the US Army in Europe and Doctoris Honoris of Ostroh Academy, delivered the eleventh lecture at the National University of Ostroh Academy. The lecture topic was 'The US Elections and Their Implications for Ukraine and for Europe'.

Open Day at the National University of Ostroh Academy
On November 14, the National University of Ostroh Academy organised an all-academic Open Day in the traditional 'All-Ukrainian Forum of the OA Future Students' format. More than 240 applicants and their parents from all regions of Ukraine attended the event.

Online meeting «ProjectCHECK» brings together experts and educators across Ukraine
On November 14 the online meeting «ProjectCHECK» was held, organized by the HEUS – «Hub of the EU solutions» project team of the National University of Ostroh Academy. The event provided a platform for sharing experiences, discussing current challenges, and finding solutions for implementing Jean Monnet projects.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Kenya Andrii Pravednyk Lectured at Ostroh Academy
On November 12, as part of the Open University Project of Ostroh Academy, a lecture entitled "Ukraine and Africa: Challenges of Diplomacy in a Time of Global War" was presented. The speaker, Andrii Pravednyk, is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Kenya.

Ostroh Academy Scholars Successfully Implementing the "Foreign Veterans, PTSD, and Moral Trauma" Project
The Department of Psychology of the National University of Ostroh Academy, in a collaborative effort with the Swedish Defense University (Stockholm), is actively engaged in the research project 'Foreign Veterans, PTSD and Moral Trauma'. This international partnership aims to deepen the understanding of the experience of soldiers and officers in challenging situations during military operations and their impact on their well-being and mental health.
