As part of the course "Historical Theology and Contemporary Theological Models," included in the interdisciplinary educational programme "Chaplaincy Service," the National University of Ostroh Academy hosted lectures by Dr Thomas Price, an invited professor from the USJ and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Thomas Price presented lectures on the following topics: "The Doctrine of the Trinity and Why It Matters" and "Why Are There So Many Christian Denominations?" They are based on profound Trinitarianism, beginning with the perfect, immanent life of the Trinity.
"Thomas Price's English-language lectures and the question-and-answer session that followed allowed the Master's students of the 'Chaplaincy Service' to deepen their knowledge of the history of theology and strengthen their general and professional competencies. We are grateful to the Christian Open Academy for organising this meeting and for its long-standing cooperation with Ostroh Academy,"
For reference:
Thomas Price is an adjunct professor of theology, philosophy, bioethics, ethics, and technology at USJ and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
The primary focus of his theological work is on restoring the Christian teaching of divine transcendence, grounded in the richness of the Christian spiritual and intellectual tradition. The professor also emphasises theological first principles and shows how vital biblical metaphysics is for organising our spiritual and intellectual lives.
In addition, Thomas Price pays attention to theological anthropology. His work in Christian ethics focuses primarily on moral theology and its implications for understanding the human being.
