The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs.

Ostroh Academy Hosted an International Research-to-Practice Conference on the Adaptation of NATO Experience in Ukraine’s Military Legislation
On October 24, the first International Research-to-Practice Conference "Substantiating Ways to Implement the Experience of Leading NATO Member States into Regulatory and Legal Changes in Ukraine's Military Service Legislation" was held at the National University of Ostroh Academy and hosted by the Department of National Security and Political Science. The conference was initiated by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the Department of Personnel Policy of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, and the Scientific and Methodological Centre for Personnel Policy of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

The National University of Ostroh Academy successfully hosted the international conference “Civil Society in Conflict Resolution Process: EU Experience for Ukraine”, which brought together scholars, researchers, educators, and civil society representatives from various European Union countries and Ukraine. The event was implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet project of the same name (ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH), co-funded by the European Union.

On October 13–14, the National University of Ostroh Academy hosted the 'EU Career Days 2025'. The event was organised by the EU Information Centre, established at the university with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine. The programme included a panel discussion on 'Ukraine's European Integration Aspirations and Prospects in the Context of the Contemporary Geopolitical Landscape' and a series of training sessions for students.

The 'Mr. Leader' Centre for Education and Care for Preschool-Age Children Opened at Ostroh Academy
On October 9, the National University of Ostroh Academy launched the 'Mr. Leader' Centre for Early Childhood Education and Care. This initiative was spearheaded by the NaUOA President, Prof. Ihor Pasichnyk, with assistance from Member of Parliament Volodymyr Voronov. The opening was supported by the NaUOA Rector Prof. Eduard Balashov, Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Affairs Ruslana Kalamazh, and Assoc. Prof. Maksym Karpovets, the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Management.
