Dear colleagues!
We invite you to participate in the international conference “Civil Society in Conflict Resolution Process: EU Experience for Ukraine” within the framework of the Jean Monnet project “Civil Society in Conflict Resolution: EU Experience for Ukraine” (101084973 – EURoCoRP – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH), which aims to promote the value of EU civil society in conflict resolution and raise awareness of contemporary hybrid conflicts.
Researchers, teachers, young scientists, students, representatives of professional communities, and civil society are invited to participate. The event will be a unique platform for exchanging experiences and best practices on the transformation of the European Union's security policy, its role in conflict resolution, countering hybrid threats, and supporting democratic processes in Ukraine.
Main sections:
- Section 1. Europe as a political actor in the conflict resolution process;
- Section 2. Reforming the security sector in the context of the spread of hybrid threats: the EU's experience for Ukraine;
- Section 3. Civil society in the context of Ukraine's European integration;
- Section 4. The role of the EU in resolving the current situation in Ukraine: humanitarian aid, investment support, and EU sanctions policy;
- Section 5. Institutional foundations for countering hybrid conflicts in the EU and Ukraine.
- Section 6. Miscellanea.
The conference will take place on October 21–22, 2025.
The format will be combined: online (ZOOM platform) and offline.
Working languages of the conference: English, Ukrainian.

Based on the results, we plan to publish the conference materials. Participation (in person/correspondence/remote) is free of charge (a conference participant certificate (0.5 ECTS credits (15 hours)) will be provided upon submission of the presentation topic during registration). The organizers will not reimburse conference participants for travel expenses.
Requirements for the presentation of materials:
- text length – 2-5 A4 pages;
- materials should be formatted in MS Word, A4 page size (all margins – 2 cm), line spacing – 1; Times New Roman font, size – 12;
- footnotes;
- the author's first and last name should be located in the upper right corner of the first page; next – the title of the abstract in capital letters (centered); on the next line – abstracts and keywords in Ukrainian and English (approximately 5-7 lines). At the beginning of the abstract in English, provide a translation of the author's surname and initials and the title of the article;
- references should be formatted according to APA7 style.
