The 'Mr. Leader' Centre for Education and Care for Preschool-Age Children Opened at Ostroh Academy
On October 9, the National University of Ostroh Academy launched the 'Mr. Leader' Centre for Early Childhood Education and Care. This initiative was spearheaded by the NaUOA President, Prof. Ihor Pasichnyk, with assistance from Member of Parliament Volodymyr Voronov. The opening was supported by the NaUOA Rector Prof. Eduard Balashov, Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Affairs Ruslana Kalamazh, and Assoc. On September 10, 2025, an open lecture by Shirin Ebadi — an Iranian lawyer, human rights activist, and recipient of the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize — took place at the National University of Ostroh Academy. The event became part of the Fifth Anniversary Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska. For the fifth consecutive year, the Summit has served as an international humanitarian platform, bringing together thought leaders, cultural figures, educators, and policymakers to address global challenges jointly.

Ostroh Academy is the First Classical University in Ukraine to Receive a Seven-Year International Accreditation from HAKA
The National University of Ostroh Academy has received unique international recognition: the Estonian Quality Agency for Education (HAKA) has granted the university accreditation for 7 years. This decision confirms that the academy's strategic development, educational, and research activities comply with European quality standards, making it the first Ukrainian university to successfully undergo institutional accreditation within the framework of an international pilot project.
