The 3-year BA programme gives students a core knowledge of European politics, culture and society, whilst emphasizing Europe’s role in a wider global framework. Key concepts, such as culture, identity, diversity, democratic processes, Europeanisation and globalization are discussed in an interdisciplinary manner. Tackling with European affairs through a sociological, political and economic lens, students gain a cross-sectional awareness of the many challenges facing contemporary societies. The programme equips with tools to analyse current events and understand the complexities of political, socio-economic phenomena, and prepares students for further education in the field of international relations.
INTERNSHIP:
Students are highly encouraged to conduct an internship within the course of their studies to acquire practical experience. CES has a developed net of partner institutions in Europe where students can undertake internship.
Graduate Profile:
Programme graduates find employment in public administration, national and international institutions and organisations, EU institutions, non-governmental organizations, cultural institutions, mass media and publishing. This programme also serves as the first step towards continuing the student’s academic education on a graduate and postgraduate level.
