U-Multirank University Rankings U-Multirank is an international ranking that has a multidimensional approach to assessing the quality of higher education institutions around the world and ensures the transparency of higher education by offering an alternative approach to comparing the performance of higher education institutions. It is not confined to research but takes into account different aspects and dimensions of the performance of universities: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement. U-Multirank web tool allows comparisons to be made at the level of the university as a whole and the level of specific curricula. Based on empirical data, U-Multirank compares institutions with similar institutional profiles and allows users to create their rankings by selecting indicators according to their preferences. U-Multirank does not produce a combined, weighted score across these different areas of performance and then use these scores to produce a numbered league table. In 2020, the ranking represented about 1,800 higher education institutions from 92 countries. The number of Ukrainian universities increased from 54 to 76 compared to the previous year.
