The Ostroh Academy will host a training session for public leaders and representatives of local self-government bodies

October 26, 2026

The National University of Ostroh Academy invites public administrators, representatives of local governments, community leaders, and anyone interested to participate in a free online internship as part of the short-term program “Public Administration and Strategic Development of Local Communities in the Visegrad Group Countries and Ukraine.”

The online session will take place from November 9 to 13, 2026. Classes will be held via videoconference using Zoom, so you can join from anywhere in Ukraine and beyond.

The internship program draws on the experiences of the Visegrad Group countries: Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. Participants will explore theoretical and practical case studies that will help them better understand key aspects of community development and public leadership in the context of today’s challenges and uncertainties. Of particular value is the opportunity to see how similar issues are addressed in neighbouring countries and to rethink these approaches in the perspective of Ukrainian realities.

Classes will be held daily according to the following schedule: the first session from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the second from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This schedule allows participants to balance their studies with their full-time jobs.

Participation in the program is free. All participants who complete the internship will receive electronic certificates of participation.

To register, please fill out the online form at the following link.

The registration deadline is November 7, 2026.

For any questions regarding participation, please contact us by email at: dmytro.shevchuk@oa.edu.ua.

The online session was organized as part of the project “V4Ukraine Public Leadership School” (IVF Project ID 22610247). The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
