On May 28, 2021, a Forum was held dedicated to the celebration of the International Birthday of the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk. The National University of Ostroh Academy, which has been cooperating with the Pomeranian Academy in 2016 within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement, joined this event and took an active part in it.

The online-ceremony was inaugurated by the Rector of Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Zbigniew Osadowski. The address was followed by presentations of universities from around the world, competitions with prizes, a battle of music bands and interviews with interesting people.

The employees of the International Relations Department, together with the students of the NUOA, prepared a video congratulation of the Pomeranian Academy. Also, within the framework of the presentation of the university, all participants of the Forum had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the modern National University of Ostroh Academy. It was a very good opportunity to get to know each other better and learn more about universities from other countries that took part in the Forum (Portugal, Kazakhstan, etc.)

The event emphasized the crucial role of active international cooperation between the Ostroh and Pomeranian Academy, because it is within the framework of this cooperation that a large number of NUOA students have the opportunity to study at PA for free. Cooperation contributes to the development of the internationalization of NUOA and the expansion of international cooperation within the framework of the "NUOA Internationalization Strategy 2017-2022".

The National University of Ostroh Academy and PA are working with the aim of broadening the ways of exchange of teachers and students, as well as joint research, international projects and more. By the way, competition for semester studies at the Pomeranian Academy has just been announced, so I invite students to read additional information on the international relations department Facebook page and submit the necessary documents for semester training in Poland to the international relations department of the NUOA”,

For reference. The Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk is a modern university in Poland with more than 40 years of history, located near the Baltic Sea (18 km) in the city of Slupsk. Students are offered training in 25 specialties and 100 specializations. In 2018, an agreement on the exchange of students, teachers and scientists was concluded between NUOA and the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk.
