The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs.


The National University of Ostrog Academy cooperates with foreign educational and scientific institutions, scientists, representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora.

The National University of Ostroh Academy receive the status of autonomous research national higher educational establishment.


Ostroh Academy University library which provides the resources for research and educational purposes, the access to the electronic catalogue of the library and foreign library networks.

Teaching and research in the National University of Ostroh Academy is organised by Faculties. There are five Faculties and I. Malynovskyi Institute of Law offering sixteen prestigious specialities.


Ostroh Academy abounds with the projects which welcome the students willing to actively participate, reveal their creative potential and realize their selves.

The Student of the Faculty of International Relations won the academic competition in the discipline "English Language"

Yevhenii Terentiev, who is a student of the Department of International Relations, took the 2nd place in the second round of the all-Ukrainian academic competition in the discipline "English Language", which took place at the Lviv Polytechnic National University. Yevhenii is a fourth-year student of the specialty "International Relations" and has participated in the all-Ukrainian academic competition for the first time. Yevhenii is interested not only in international relations but also in political philosophy. He successfully combines this interest with the improvement of his English, since Yevhenii has attended two English-speaking conferences of the Free Generation Forum, visited the European Students for Liberty Startup Camp, and been a participant in the international English-speaking conference LibertyCon 2018.

All the lecturers who taught Yevhenii English helped him to prepare for the academic competition. The winner expresses special gratitude to Iryna Mykolaivna Tymeichuk, Ph.D. in Philology, Associate Professor.
