Oleh Polianskyi, a worldwide known virtuoso pianist (Cologne, Germany), gave a concert in Ostroh Academy.
The performance by Mr Polianskyi, Associate Professor at Hochshule für Musik Köln, became a real present and a good spare time for true music connoisseurs.
He is a prize winner of many international competitions, including the Tchaikovsky Piano Competition (Moscow), Tokyo Competition (Japan), Montreal Competition (Canada), the International Duo Competition in Marseilles (France), the Cincinnati’s World Piano Competition (USA), and Citta di Cantu (Italy). After an encore, Oleh Polianskyi expressed a desire to perform for such an appreciative audience in the future and to have a chance to learn more about Ostroh Academy, the first higher educational establishment of Eastern Europe.
