Ostroh Academy participated in the Euroatlantic Forum

At the invitation of the Institute for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation, the students of the Faculty of Political Studies and Information Management of Ostroh Academy and L.V. Zahrebelna, Lecturer of the Department of Political Science, took part in the 5th Euroatlantic Forum Ukraine and the EU on the Brink of the New Association Agreement:  Free Trade, Energy Security and Democracy. The Forum took place in Kyiv on 25-26 January.

The following topics were discussed: EU-Ukraine relations; the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement: Prospects of Implementation; Energy Community, Energy Dialogue and Energy Security; Economic Development, Business Relations and Business Environment.

Among others, the Forum was attended by Stephen Larrabee, Distinguished Chair in European Security at the RAND Corporation, Washington, D.C., Petro Poroshenko, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, Michael Borg-Hansen, the Danish Ambassador to Ukraine, Borys Tarasiuk, Chairman of the Committee of European integration of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Hannes Schreiber, Head of Political Section, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.
