Journal Rivnenshchyna Relihiina Published In Ostroh Avademy

The second issue of informational and analytical journal Rivnenshchyna Relihiina (The Religious Rivne Region) came off press. The core theme of the periodical is the Bible. The journal presents different scientific approaches to interpreting the Bible (an interview with the Head of the Department of Religious Studies Faculty, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, S. I. Zhyliuk). Moreover, readers can take an interest in Dan Brown's Betrayal Gospels by D.V. Tsolin, different utterances of priests and laypeople about the approaches to interpreting the Bible and its urgency in modern life and culture. The issue also contains plenty of other interesting interviews, articles describing the life of Christian confessions of our region and a page about religious experience in other regions of Ukraine.

Rivnenshchyna Relihiina seeks collaboration with the leaders of religious organizations of Rivne region, parishioners and those not indifferent to the spiritual revival of the region. We are extremely interested in converse and cooperative work. Editor-in-chief of the periodical, Candidate of Historical Sciences S.V. Fylypchuk mentioned that the theme of the next issue will be social work of the church. The students and instructors of the Department of Religious Studies are currently actively working on it.
