On 21 May the presentation of the book Bible Principles of Life and ministry written by Honorary Doctor of Theology and Professor of the Department of Religious Studies of Ostroh Academy National University Leonid Yakobchuk took place in Ostroh Academy National University. This book is of theological content, where the author resting upon biblical texts examines a chain of theological issues, and also the principles of social, religious, personal life and divine service. This book is an unprecedented occurrence in Christian literature since it implies a deep understanding of bible texts and promotes living according to moral values.

The author himself is a unique person. Most of his life Leonid Yakobchuk has lived abroad.  For 37 years already he has been conducting radio programmes dedicated to Ukrainian youth.  For 12 years he has been teaching Christian ethics and Biblical anthropology at Ostroh Academy National University, Lviv, Rivne and Kyiv theological seminaries. Besides Ostroh Academy, he also practises teaching at Bible Institute in Syracuse, NY (USA), numerous US and Canada bible schools and seminaries.
