The Catharsis Presents
March 30, 2008
The Week of the College of Political Studies and Information Management was rounded off with a theatrical event. On March 28, Ostroh Academy could witness the premiere by Catharsis, a revived theatre of psychological drama. The renewed cast presented a wonderful show called In Search of the Truth and including the recreation of historical events, insights into love and romance, Biblical parables, Ukrainian ethnic flavour, and medieval courtliness. Throughout the performance, the characters from different epochs strived to solve eternal problems and thus made the public ponder over general human truths.
The show proved to be unique thanks to using masks and features of psychodrama. This contributed to the novelty and the mysterious character of the performance, while leaving some food for thought.
