Newspaper Ostrozka Academia Is the Leader Among Student Media

Student newspaper of Ostroh Academy took first place on the exhibition of student media from all over Ukraine in the nomination The Best Unofficial Periodical of Higher Educational Institution as a part of the International scientific conference Associating Student Journalism: Through Studies to Professional Development.  

Ostroh Academy National University keeps holding leading positions in the sphere of spiritual and intellectual development of the Ukrainian youth. The university is proud of its scientific achievements and supports the development of the best traditions of Ukrainian journalism.

The conference, as a part of which the student media competition was held, took place in Zaporizhia National University on 13-14 May. The conference included conducting sectional meetings, trainings and masterclasses conducted by famous Ukrainian journalists and experts in media, and participation in exhibition and competition of Student media from all over Ukraine. More than fifty higher educational institution media were presented during the exhibition.

The international scientific conference of mass media is held for the 2nd time. The organizers of the event aim at organizing experience exchange between the representatives of student media from all regions of Ukraine.
