The National University of Ostroh Academy has confirmed its high standing at the national and global levels, entering the international HE Higher Education Ranking 2026. According to the assessment results, the university ranked 7th among 30 Ukrainian higher education institutions and 104th out of 507 universities worldwide.
The HE Higher Education Ranking is an international evaluation system that assesses universities across 25 criteria and 177 key performance indicators (KPIs). The ranking methodology is based on a comprehensive analysis of universities' effectiveness across 25 criteria, which cover management, the educational process, scientific activity, internationalisation, and interaction with society and the labour market. Each criterion includes a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) that together determine the university's final score and allow you to objectively assess its level of development, competitiveness, and impact.
According to the ranking results, the National University of Ostroh Academy scored 7000 points. It demonstrated high results in the following categories:
- Criterion 8: Social and Cultural Impact of the university (300 out of 400);
- Criterion 10: Equity, equality, Diversity, and inclusion (348 out of 400);
- Criterion 12: UN Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (165 out of 200);
- Criterion 13: Labour Market (412 out of 500);
- Criterion 16: Lifelong Learning (375 out of 400);
- Criterion 17: Data Management (255 out of 300);
- Criterion 19: Media (85 out of 100);
- Criterion 20: Academic Freedom (221 out of 250);
- Criterion 21: Support of Distance Learning (225 out of 300);
- Criterion 22: Innovation and Creativity (264 out of 300);
- Criterion 23: Sustainability and Management (226 out of 250);
- Criterion 24: Academic Transparency (250 out of 250);
- Criterion 25: Futuristic Concept of the University (120 out of 150).
Such results are evidence of the university's systematic work to improve the quality of education, develop scientific activities, and introduce modern approaches to management and learning. Ostroh Academy consistently strengthens its position as an open, innovative and socially responsible higher education institution that successfully integrates into the global educational space.
