The Students of Ostroh Academy in the Forefront Again

Three teams of The National University of Ostroh Academy received prizes in this year contest on doing business projects “Smart Challenge” in a time.
At The National University of Water Management and Nature Recourses Use the second contest in doing business projects “Smart Challenge” took place, organized by the business community “Smart People” with the support of the leading companies, such as “ESKADA-M”, “RENOME”, “Dyckerhoff Ukraine”, “Teplosfera”, and others. The contest was attended by 26 teams from 6 educational establishments of Rivne region.
“Smart Challenge” is a business game, the essence of which is to solve the case – govermental, social, or economic one. This year the owner of the project was the company “ESKADA-M” which invited participants to develop marketing strategies. To solve the problem each team had three hours, after which participants presented their portfolio.
All prizes were shared among the students of Ostroh Academy. The team of The Faculty of Economics consisting of students Mar’iana Melnyk, Daryna Yeniseieva and Olexander Korol took the first place. The second and the third places divided the students of The Faculty of Political Studies and Information Management. The team of Documentation and Information Specialty “Lemon” (Oksana Gudkova, Victoria Mykolaichuk and Maryna Shpakevych) received the second place, and the team of psychologists “Wasabi” (Andriy Levchuk, Ivan Shermer, Iryna Stetsiuk and Denys Rudienok) – received the third prize.
“The contest is very useful, as it was an important experience to participate in making real business decisions, to leave your own comfort zone and to learn something new”, are the winners impressions.
The participants were invited for an interview to the company “ESKADA-M” with the prospect of further employment.
