Ostroh Academy Lecturers Took Part in Drafting Local Referendums Law

The lecturers of the National University of Ostroh Academy, Serhii Shturkhetskyi, head of the Department of Documentation and Information, and Serhii Rybachok, lecturer of the Department of Political Science, were among the chosen experts involved in the work of Rivne focus group for drafting legislation on local referendums.
The aim of this action was to obtain the qualitative characteristics for the basic provisions of the future legislation on local referendums and to form the expert position for the improvement of the local referendum institution.
The focus group operated within the project Reform of the Local Referendums Institution:
Citizens’ participation in the government. This project is been implemented by the coalition of public organizations associated with, the Reform Support Network.
Project executive is the Centre for Political Analysis and Election Consulting (Lutsk).
The event has been organized by Rivne agency of the Civic Network "OPORA".
