The presentation of a Peresopnytsia Gospel in Ostroh Academy

The facsimile edition of the Gospel has been presented for first time in Ukraine in Ostroh Academy. The book was bought and donated to Academy by the businessman and the board member of “Quintessentially estates” company Oleh Kashtan. According to Rector Ihor Pasichnyk, Mr. Kashtan may rightfully be called a Patron now.

It is the first facsimile edition of the Gospel in Ukraine. The book was published with a circulation of two hundred copies by the Publishers “ADEF-Ukraine”. The unique publication was presented to the public in the walls of Ostroh Academy. 

The presentation of a book has also been attended by the members of Organizing Committee “Peresopnytsia Gospel. 450 years”. They are also responsible for the preparation for the celebration of the anniversary of  Peresopnytsia Gospel edition in Ukraine. In particular, the Ostrog Academy was visited by the Deputy Head of Rivne Regional State Administration Alexey Gubanov, director of the Rivne branch of the National Bank of Ukraine Ivan Chuh, director of the publishing house “ADEF-Ukraine” Ihor Shpak, executive director of the publishing house “ADEF-Ukraine” Alla Istomin, by the representative of the Ukrainian World Congress Andrei Gaidamak and the professor and academician of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of Archaeology NAS Peter Tolochko.
