Here They Listen to Intellectual Music

May 20, 2009

On 21 May an art evening was held in Ostroh Academy. It has been organized for three years and may become a traditional one.

Young people presented creative poetical works, own their art interests, new sensual accords and the harmony of the good mood in the open, without scenario and order, making natural art influence as it is.

A music group reflecting good taste of Ostroh Academy students was this evening’s debut. Earlier, rock music was their favourite for the young people (and still is), now the Academy aura was also filled with light sounds of jazz, blues and grunge, quite unconventional for Ukraine.  Poetry read by authors, the unchangeable element, was a special one not only because of its words but also because it was intensified by emotional music.

This evening ended with a disco in a Student club, and the guests had another chance to see that the Academy students always can choose what to do, what to devote themselves to, they also have determination to “work” for art and spirituality.
