Bu-Ba-Bu Visiting Ostroh Academy

Last week OA students and lecturers had a meeting with the members of the famous literary group Bu-Ba-Bu (Burlesk, Balagan, Bufonada – Burlesque, Tomfoolery, Buffoonery) Yurii Andrukhovych, Oleksandr Irvanets and Viktor Neborak.
Their basic reason for the visit was the presentation of the new book Anthology. Bu-Ba-Bu. Selections, published on the initiative of Lviv writer, journalist and publisher Viktor Habor; the unofficial reason was Irvanets’ birthday though.
He told about the ‘underground of the best workshops’ where the best poetic tastes are rooted, about the first poetic evening in Kyiv Molodyi Theatre and his first experience in poetry.
The vice-rector for studies and scholarly activities Petro Kraliuk awarded Irvanets with the Diploma of the Honoured Member of Ostroh Academic Brotherhood.
