The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs.

The movie “Red” has been watched at Ostroh Academy
For the Day of Ukrainian cinema, a screening of the movie “Red” was held at the Culture and Art Center of the National University of Ostroh Academy on September 6. It is a Ukrainian historical movie and the screen adaptation of the novel by Andrii Kokotiukha, a contemporary Ukrainian writer and fictionist. The movie appeared on the cinema screens on August 24, 2017.

The students of the National University of Ostroh Academy will study at the Ukrainian Leadership Academy (ULA). Ivanna Malchevska, the third-year student of the Faculty of Political Studies and Information Management, Daryna Nychkalo, the fourth-year student of the Faculty of Humanities, and Oleksandra Hevko, the second-year student of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages, has passed three stages of the selection process and will study for 10 months in those cities where the centers of ULA are located.

Yesterday Svitlana Bohatyrchuk-Kryvko, Vice-Head of Rivne Regional State Administration, and Serhii Svystaliuk, First Vice-Head of Rivne Regional State Administration, awarded the students for victories in the all-Ukrainian academic competitions and contests, participation in international conferences, and outstanding academic achievements.
