The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs.

Teaching and research in the National University of Ostroh Academy is organised by Institutes. There are five Educational and Scientific Institutes offering sixteen prestigious specialities.

Students’ Projects

To support the active students, Ostroh Academy favours the realization of students' projects. Created on the initiave of students, a number of projects currently function at the university: the School of Political Analytics "Polis", the Fund "Pravnychi Initsiatyvy" (Jurisprudential Initiatives), the Club "Economist", the newspaper Ostroh Academy, the Student Radio, the Photo-Club, the English-Speaking Discussion Group, and the English-Speaking Theatre.
