Ostroh Academy Students First Again

On 3-4 April the All-Ukrainian Political Studies Contest took place in Ostroh Academy National University. The event was organized on the high level despite the fact that it was held for the first time.  More than 50 students studying Political Studies in 17 Ukrainian higher educational establishments took part in the Contest.

The fourth and fifth year students had an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of Political Studies while fulfilling the contest tasks. Total time was limited to three hours. During the proposed time the participants had to answer theoretical and practical test questions.

The jury, headed by the Doctor of Political Studies, the fellow correspondent of Ukrainian Political Studies Academy Maria Karmazina, consisted of the famous professors and doctors of Political Studies.   

The winner was Iryna Chyrytsia, the fourth year student of Ostroh Academy. The second place took Serhii Shkirchak, the fifth year student of Petro Mohyla Chornomorskyi State University. The third place shared Yulia Dmytryshyn, the fourth year student of Kyiv-Mohyla National University, and Viktor Pashkov, the fourth year student of Oles Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University.

According to the general group results of higher educational establishments, Ostroh Academy National University took the first place in the Contest, Kyiv-Mohyla National University took the second place, Oles Gonchar Dnipropetrovsk National University took the third place, Petro Mohyla Chornomorskyi State University took the fourth place and Volodymyr Dal East Ukrainian national University took the fifth place.
