21st Century Communication Technologies Discussed In Ostroh Academy

On 22-23 May the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference Communication Technologies of the 21st Century took place in Ostroh Academy.  

The organizer of the conference was the Department of Documentation and Information.  Last autumn the Department celebrated its tenth anniversary.  Later the game 10 Years – 10 Steps was held as a part of the celebration.  One of such steps was the conference organized with the aim to make the scientific achievements of the faculty and students of the Department public. The collected articles based on the results of the conference will be published as well.

The lecturers of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn State University, Lutsk Institute of Human Development of Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine”, East European University of Economics and Management, Volodymyr Dahl East-Ukrainian National University, Mykolaiv College of Press and Television, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Donetsk National University took part in the conference.  

It is worth mentioning that the students of Masters and Bachelor programmes of Ostroh Academy National University took active part in the round table discussion concerning the problems and prospects of professional training in the domain of documentary and informational support of management in the conditions of information society of Ukraine.

The results of the conference were published in the collection of articles of Ostroh Academy (culture and social communication series). The University also exchanged experience and established cooperation with the educational institutions that prepare specialists of documentation and information.
