Internship Offer | European Network Remembrance and Solidarity
The European Network Remembrance and Solidarity is an international initiative focusing on research, documentation and dissemination of knowledge about Europe's 20th-century history and ways in which it is commemorated. Special focus is on periods of dictatorship, war and social opposition to captivity. Network members include Poland, Germany, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.  Advisory assemblies additionally involve representatives of Albania, Austria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Georgia. ENRS works with partners from throughout Europe when engaging in cultural and academic projects, conferences, seminars, workshops and publications.

A meeting was held with Eurocash Agency
On January 25, representatives of the Department of International Relations of NUOA, together with Eurocash Agency, held an online presentation on internship opportunities for NGO students in Germany. With this event, DIR launched monthly presentations of foreign study opportunities, internships, and volunteering for students of our university. During the presentation, there were discussed students' prospects for employment abroad, summer practical experience, internships and other opportunities.

Ostroh Academy is in the top-three among the Ukrainian HEI’s in the world rankings of universities IU GreenMetric 2021
December 23, 2021, IU GreenMetric World University Rankings has published a ranking that has ranked universities around the world since 2010 on six indicators: environment and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water resources, transportation, and education. UI GreenMetric aims to raise universities' awareness of global sustainability goals. This year, 956 universities from 80 countries took part in the publication.

A round table was held at the National University of Ostroh Academy on December 20-21 in the framework of the second work package “Creating new curricula and updating and adapting existing curricula” of the WARN grant project “Academic Counteraction to Hybrid Threats”. On April 21, 2021, the British Times Higher Education published a ranking assessing the impact of universities on social and economic development (Impact Rankings 2021) for the third time. The university's impact ranking demonstrates how the higher education sector around the world is working towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The third edition of this ranking comprises of 1115 universities from 94 countries (while in 2020 it comprised of 768 universities from 85 countries).

To the 100th anniversary of the Day of Unity of Ukraine: the actual thought of the scientist
Today we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Day of Unity of Ukraine. It was on January 22, 1919 that the “Act Zluky” (Unification Act) was proclaimed, which was one of the most important events of the Ukrainian revolution period of 1917-1921. Thanks to this document, the unification of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and Western Ukrainian People’s Republic took place. Volodymyr Marchuk, Associate Professor of the M.P. Acquaintance with Lublin: Communication, Cooperation, Media
The delegation of students and lecturers of the Faculty of International Relations and the Department of Journalism of the National University of Ostroh Academy recently took part in an exchange project that took place in Lublin, Republic of Poland. The project was aimed at developing journalism competencies. The project, aimed at developing of the competence of youth in the field of journalism as a platform for cooperation between the two countries, has helped to change participants’ directives, destroy myths and, most importantly, establish communication with Polish students of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. The conference, attended by Ukrainian and Polish students, was open to participation. There were presentation of the student magazine “Coś Nowego” and media platform “Passion TV”, acquaintance and exchange of experience. The Ukrainian and Polish delegations once again proved in a joint conversation that communication is a two-way process, and language is not a barrier to understanding each other. An interesting language practice became for us the opportunity to listen to lectures of рrof. Michał Wyrostkiewicz, who spoke about the importance of such simple elements as the title letter in the texts and the new media in journalism. A vivid memory is the tour to the Polish channel TVP3. As far as the election campaign in Poland is under way, it has been especially interesting for future journalists to look behind the scenes of the media. The most emotional time of the project has become a trip to the former concentration camp Majdanek, where people got an opportunity to understand all the tragedy horror of the Second World War. Renovated premises, excursions, groups of tourists from different countries and exhibits of that time left no one indifferent. Lublin is a comfortable for life student town. Here you will find elements of urban context and Old City buildings similar to Ukrainian Lwiw, as well as a feeling of pleasure when no one is in hurry. During these days, the team of the Ostroh Academy had the opportunity to plunge into another city and get acquainted with its culture. The work on scientific papers within the framework of the project, which later will be included in the joint collection of scientific articles, has turned out to be a great output. The second part of the project was the arrival of Polish participants to the Ostroh Academy. The program of their visit consisted of interesting excursions, meetings and lectures from the professors of our University. The joint Ukrainian-Polish conference became the last stage of the project. Ukrainian students talked about the Ostroh Academy, studying and cultural life of the town. On behalf of the participants, I express our sincere appreciation to the organizers of the project – The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the National University of Ostroh Academy, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the Ukrainian-Polish Council of Youth Exchange.
